SolarWinds - Free VM Monitor application

October 18th, 2008

SolarWinds have announced a handy little desktop application for monitoring the status of a single ESX Host and it’s VM’s.  You can view a video overview of the product on YouTube by following the link below.

  • Hi Craig,

Would love to introduce you to PacketTrap's Perspective sometime soon. In fact, we're releasing our VM product next Tuesday and you're welcome to a sneak preview if you'd like.

Implementing virtual environments is no easy task, as you know. PacketTrap works to ensure the process is smooth and fast by getting involved at the testing stage. We provide real time and historical stats on how the system is performing (CPU, memory, traffic). This way users know how the virtual environment impacts other areas of the network.

Our solution, Perspective, is used for ongoing monitoring of the virtual environment to ensure granual inspection of bandwidth, utilization, storage, inventory, etc.

Again, would love to do a quick demo for you if you'd like via LiveMeeting or something similar.

    Thanks and best,
    Anna
