November Stats - From humble beginnings

December 10th, 2008

I’ve noticed that a number of people have been posting stats for their blog sites recently.  Not one to miss a trick I though I would put myself up for comparison alongside the likes of Duncan Epping over at Yellow Bricks and Richard over at vm-etc.com.

As embarrassing as it might seem to compare myself to them, as I have only a tiny proportion of the hits that they have,  I’m keen to do so.  Considering I only started blogging back in September, I’m very proud of what I have achieved in such a small space of time.  I’m even more proud of putting something out there and having it challenged or used by someone else in the same field as myself.  That’s what I get out of blogging and why I got into it,  so if only one person sees it I will be a happy man.

So what were my Stats for November????

Well I got 460 Site Visits,  1057 Page Views  and I had hits from across Europe and North America as well as countries further afield such as India and New Zealand.  This is nothing compared to the 85,000+ that Duncan and Rich get, but for me it’s a nice place to start.  Duncan Epping at Yellow Bricks has gone from 15,000 in January to 85,000 in November,  what a metioric rise and one that gives me continued inspiration to carry on blogging.
